WORKORDER MANAGEMENT

In the Workorder Management Module the planner creates new work orders in a fast and efficient way.

To every work order, detailed customer information is assigned, such as the address, an exact description of the tasks that need to be performed, the date and estimated time as well as the required parts.

The advanced filter option enables the planner to manage all work orders with ease.

MAPPING

The Mapping Module displays the current location of all field technicians on the move.

You can see whether they are at the customer site, travelling or at home. Additionally, all customer locations can be displayed on the map. This enables the planner to define optimized routes with the shortest travelling times possible.

In case of an urgent service request, immediate action is possible as the closest technician can easily be located on the map and instantly be sent to the customer.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

All relevant information about your field force,such as the duty roster and personal data is stored in the Resource Management Module.

The duty roster for each technician only needs to be created once and can then easily be copied from one week to another. Regular working times, vacations, illness and trainings are marked there so the system knows exactly at what time the technician is available and can be assigned to new work orders.

      

 

 

PLANNING AND DISPATCHING

The Planning & Dispatching Module enables your planners to assign and dispatch open work orders.
With the support of the system open jobs are selected and assigned to your field technicians, considering their availability, skills and qualifications.

This not only makes planning fast and easy but also ensures that the right technician is at the right place at the right time.

After the planning has been completed, work orders are sent wirelessly to the field technician’s handhelds. Planners can monitor the progress of each job in real time and immediately recognise idle times, delays or work overloads.



FIELD SERVICE AND FACILITY MANAGEMENT

With Celesta PLAN typical field service and facility management operations like orders creations (emergency or planned) can be created and dispatched to the best available mobile users. Mobile user running PLAN Mobile extension is able to accept, reject, start and close work orders received from server. All status changes are immediately visible on the server side PLAN components. Addtional information like used materials, working hours, special costs,  barcodes, signature capture images and camera images can be included to work reports send from mobile terminal to server side PLAN. Mobile users positioning can be also send to server and used in server side PLAN for mobile users tracking (with maps) and dispatching.

 

FLEET MANAGEMENT

Logistics operations for parcels delivery and pickups can be customized in Celesta PLAN as work orders and activities. Driver using PLAN mobile extension can login to Celesta PLAN and report/receive the parcels for deliveries and information about pickups. Driver performs deliveries and pickups and reports status and possible exceptions if there were problems with operations. Pickup and deliveries status changes  are sent to server side PLAN and information is immediately visible for logistics manager.  Driver can use barcode scanning for parcels, deliveries and pickups identification. This reduces significantly need for typing information from keyboard.   Location information can be also received from the mobile terminal equipped with GPS device. Server side PLAN is capable of visually display mobile resources position on map. Drivers driving route can also be shown on map.
